Squaw Lake Cove
Fantastic Boating!
Like most of the Day Use Areas at Imperial Dam, Squaw Lake Cove offers swimming, fishing, fire rings and picnic tables. No overnight camping is allowed. The Day Use Area is located right on Squaw Lake. Although Squaw Lake maintains a no-wake zone (5 mph speed limit) for boats, it has access to the Colorado River and as such, generally has more boating traffic than the Senator Wash Reservoir. If you’re looking for a less traveled path, Senator Wash is a good alternative. No matter which one you choose, you will have a great time!
